Transportation Initiatives

We serve as a voice for the community, advocating for community needs with MARTA, the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). We have established a South Moreland Avenue working group to pursue the goals established in the South Moreland LCI to create a safer, activated, more walkable Moreland Avenue. This group is actively working with GDOT and the City of Atlanta on pedestrian and vehicular safety improvements. In addition, we keep the community informed of ongoing projects and opportunities for public engagement with MARTA and ATLDOT.
