2022 Ormewood Park Makers Festival, Saturday June 11th (11AM to 6PM)

The Makers Festival is returning to Ormewood Park this spring!  The SAND Neighborhood Association has announced it will be presenting this popular street festival on Saturday, June 11th from 11am - 6pm.

The Makers Festival was established to showcase those who “make”, through craftsmanship, artistic ingenuity, and homegrown talent.  Makers are encouraged to “showcase their creations” and “share their learning” as they display their handmade fashion, woodworking, jewelry, blacksmithing, photography, and other arts.

The festival will celebrate innovators, creators, designers, crafters, educators, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, and artists. The Makers Festival is intended to be a combination of arts festival and crafts fair.

In addition to the Makers Market there will be live music, food and drink, neighborhood organizations, non-profit stalls, and much more.  The annual festival is a great opportunity for people to get to know one of SAND’s many eclectic neighborhoods, Ormewood Park.

Walking or bicycling to the festival is encouraged.  MARTA has a bus stop very close on Route 4 (Moreland Ave at Delaware Ave).  The address is 1071 Delaware Avenue, SE, (Ormewood Park Church).
